Seit Privatisierung der Deutschen Post ist das Bundesministerium der Finanzen (BMF) Herausgeber der deutschen Briefmarken. In dieser Eigenschaft versandte das BMF Mitteilungsblätter über die Herausgabe neuer Briefmarken an diverse Institutionen und vor allem an die Presse. Diese Mitteilungsblätter wurden in hochwertigem Farbdruck auf Kunstdruckpapier hergestellt und enthalten neben dem realisierten Entwurf auch alle Konkurrenzentwürfe. Die Titelseite zeigt immer den angenommenen Entwurf. Die Anzahl der Entwürfe schwankt zwischen 14 und 90 Stück, dementsprechend die Seitenanzahl zwischen 3 unf 12 Seiten. Bis 1999 erschienen diese Mitteilung als Loseblattheftung, ab 2000 als Faltblatt. Inzwischen wurde die Herausgabe dieser wunderschönen Blätter wegen der hohen Druckkosten eingestellt.

Dieses Mitteilungsblatt enthält die Abbildungen von 53 verschiedenen Entwürfen.

Since the privatization of the German Post the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) has been the stamp issuing authority in Germany. BMF used to send notification brochures about the issue of new stamps to certain institutions and, most of all, to the press. These notification brochures had been produced as high quality colour prints on glossy paper and contain beside the adopted design all other designs of the competition. The title page always shows the adopted design. The number of designs varies between 14 and 90, accordingly the number of pages ranges from 3 to 12. Until 1999 these notifications had been a loose leaf collection, from 2000 they had been produced as a folder. Unfortunately they stopped issueing these wonderful brochures due to the high priniting costs.

This brochure illustrates 53 different designs.
